My work begins with affection for the craft of supply chain. Cost is the medium of my art. I am an experienced well rounded executive, entrepreneur, investor, and sustainable supply chain leader with demonstrated results launching, improving, and scaling products, services, and organizations from disruptive startups to fortune 500s.
I have diverse global hands-on experiences across 10+ industries teaming with leaders to forge triple bottom line successes by commercializing award winning products, fashioning all-new business models, and supporting extended stakeholder teams to “make more green by being green.”
My life’s work has focused on transitioning green technologies into business models and products that are both profitable and scalable. Growing up the son of a mechanic and grandson of a builder in Flint, Michigan instilled the value of hard work at a young age. I also experienced firsthand the immense challenges thrust upon families, communities, municipalities, environments, and companies when systems are not sustainable. These early experiences drove me to pursue a career in supply chain at companies that not only strived to make money but pursued making the world a better place in the process.
Climate change data is clear. We are at a critical crossroad that not only requires action, but results. Business leaders are uniquely positioned to alter humanity’s trajectory from a path that takes from the planet to one that regenerates ecosystems. My direct experience at both manufacturers and suppliers and at every function in a products lifecycle across the automotive, medium & heavy-duty truck, defense, oil and gas, energy, building products, consumer electronics, life sciences, and food & beverage industries offers companies a unique point of view to help enact needed change. Simply put, the positive impact business leaders can have on people, profits, and the planet, is something that I love to advance.
I am a working advisor, researcher and writer. I am dedicated to experimenting, applying, and sharing sustainable supply chain best practices every day. It is a practice and a journey.
My work grows in impact with your feedback. Please reach out to collaborate and share your experiences. The world needs climate results so lets advance your company and impact goals together.
